Lets continue on our theme of spoken word since we all come from oral histories, PACIFIC SUPERHEROES we are!!! Get talking and writing y’all!!!

Word Up! 2010
Friday 3rd September
7pm – 10pm
At the Corban Estate Arts Centre

Are you a singer, songwriter, poet or musician? Can you dance, rap or M.C?
We want you to perform at WORD UP! For 15-18 year olds. Prizes to be won! With celebrity judges King Kapisi and Teremoana Rapley.

Word Up! Youth event is held every year in association with the Going West Books and Writers Festival and the Corban Estate Arts Centre.
In addition, there are still some places available in our FREE WORKSHOPS for 15 – 18 year olds.

Choose from: Songwriting, Hip Hop Dance, Poetry and Spoken Word, Hip Hop Song Writing and Production.
