Kia ora PACIFIC SUPERHEROES are you surgically attached to your pc, blackberry, iphone and mac 24/7! If you are a new online, video-on-demand provider has emerged from kangaroo land claiming access to tv shows from the Pacific and New Zealand at your finger tips … along with your credit card details lolz.
After rumblings from the P.I.M.A (Pacific Island Media Association) conference in Auckland last month, about an online pacific tv network, directors Brent Reihana and Darryl Barlow turned on their servers and delivered at the start of November with www.KIWItv.com.au . This is great as a one stop shop for NZ and Pacific tv programmes etc, something similar to having your own You-tube channel online.
Check it out, they have all the major networks on board from NZ and a few through the Paicifc. You can ‘become a producer’ and upload your own content as well, which adds to the entire You-Tube feel, along with the logo looking very You-Tube-ish. Not quiet a Network yet, not quiet free, but a online provider of video content for all of us away from home to indulge in missing home programming comforts :).
gud-luk whanau
