‘PULE FAKAMOTU’ celebrating Niue art exhibition

Fakalofa ahi atu PACIFIC SUPERHEROES, in celebration of Niues Constitution Day, Artstation will be exhibiting ‘Pule Fakamotu’ from October 8th-25th 2008. A group exhibition co-curatored by contemporary Niuean artists Cerisse Palalagi and Zora Feilo. ‘Pule Fakamotu’ which means to lead and take charge of your own affairs, brings togeather Auckland based Niuean artists who will explore the theme of Niuean self-governance, with printmaking, painting, photography, multi media and weaving.

Matariki Celebrations – ‘Ranea’ exhibition

The new lunar year is up and spinning some creative excitement in the house, with Pacific Superhero flava. With a fever to catch up on some local nz contemporary art during Matariki celebrations we needn’t travel to far with ‘O-town/274′ on our doorsteps and hot with urban art in the heart of the Otara Town Centre @ Fresh Gallery.

Supporting the positive achievements and pursuits of all Pacific Superheroes Worldwide, the first mention goes to my gurl Cerisse Palalagi (Te Arawa/Niue-Tuapa), contemporary printmaker making waves with her first solo exhibition.
