But how is it that our Pacific Islands are always paid off by those greater powers to clean up their wrong doings. ‘Politicians debate over change of name for French Polynesia
(Tahitipresse) - During the last Assembly session Thursday in Papeete, French Polynesia President Oscar Temaru and Opposition leader Edouard Fritch talked about a possible change of name for French Polynesia. A referendum on this issue could be organized, Temaru said.
Fritch, from Gaston Flosse’s pro-autonomy Tahoeraa huiraatira, claimed the name “Maohi Nui” Temaru has been using lately for French Polynesia is improper.

Dziah Dance Academy are fundraising to attend the World Hiphop Dance Championships in Las Vegas in July/Aug 2009 .Dejavu junior dance crew and Dziah 2.0 varsity dance crew have qualified to compete at this prestigious event,in which over 58 different countries are involved. All funds raised will support the dancers to get to the USA and , compete in Las Vegas.This is the first time DDA is sending 2crews to represent New Zealand at this world reknown event,and first time travel for some of our dancers.

Wassup PACIFIC SUPERHEROES!!! Keep being all you can be and more!!! Heres a notice from Dziah Dance Academy who are holding a ‘DANCE PARTY’ fundraiser to help get their two NZ national winning teams to the World Hip Hop Dance Championships.
The Dziah 2.0 dance crew and DeJaVu junior crew need to fundraise $40,000 per team to get them to Las Vegas to represent NZ in the Worlds.
A smoke free and alcohol free event will be on this Friday 24th April at the Dziah Dance Academy in Otara, with tickets only $10 pplz!!! Come support, come dance, and if you can’t get there or you just simply have two left feet
