I went to a small comicbook convention at the Grey Lynn Community Centre run by the son of Marc Cross (the artist living on Niue Island) yesterday Sat 19 July. I don’t know if this is the first of it’s kind in Auckland? I think it was a “Superheroes- Underpants on the Outside Promotion” which attracted a lot of young, white, Star Trekkies, Star Wars, games, artists, geeky but proud young men mostly….very interesting to say the least and it definitely had a feel good vibe about it. Perhaps you can join it next time? Or even hold one of your own out southside?? Anythings possible…taking your Superheroes out to the public- yes, I like that idea-I’d come and support!
