We need your help with a coin or two and to pass the word on in support of talented Sth Auckland dancers  on their final push to get funds for the hip hop worlds in Las Vegas next month! Dziah Dance Academy are fundraising to attend the World Hiphop Dance Championships in Las Vegas in July/Aug 2009 .Dejavu junior dance crew and Dziah 2.0 varsity dance crew have qualified to compete at this prestigious event,in which over 58 different countries are involved. All funds raised will support the dancers to get to the USA and , compete in Las Vegas.This is the first time DDA is sending 2crews to represent New Zealand at this world reknown event,and first time travel for some of our dancers.

20poster-design-small Wassup PACIFIC SUPERHEROES!!! Keep being all you can be and more!!! Heres a notice from Dziah Dance Academy who are holding a ‘DANCE PARTY’ fundraiser to help get their two NZ national winning teams to the World Hip Hop Dance Championships.

The Dziah 2.0 dance crew and DeJaVu junior crew need to fundraise $40,000 per team to get them to Las Vegas to represent NZ in the Worlds.

A smoke free and alcohol free event will be on this Friday 24th April at the Dziah Dance Academy in Otara, with tickets only $10 pplz!!! Come support, come dance, and if you can’t get there or you just simply have two left feet :) please feel welcome to call the Academy to make donations. Please support whats ALL GOOD in our hood!!! Mauri Ora!!!

sdnz_branding_whiteArohamai PACIFIC SUPERHEROES, its been a busy start to 2009 but the wheels are still turning and its non-stop action for our top dance teams starting this weekend for the 2009 regional build up for SDNZ national dance championships on  3rd-4th of April, with the winners representing AOTEAROA at the Worlds in Las Vegas. Tickets available at TICKET DIRECT peoples, get out there and support local talent and initiatives, holla!!!

This Autumn Street Dance New Zealand will be travelling around the country finding the best of the best to represent our nation at this year’s WORLD HIP HOP CHAMPIONSHIPS in Las Vegas.

Last year, Auckland’s own, Sweet & Sour Dance Crew took out both the Regional and National Titles, and then went all the way by capturing the World Championship. Alongside the Varsity Gold Medalists, Hamilton’s FDC Supremacy Dance Crew followed closely recieving the Varsity Bronze Medal.

Check it out PACIFIC SUPERHEROES, keep supporting whats good in South Aucklands hood. The latest Street Dance NZ showcase is back with New Zealands Top Street Dance Performers. After the success of last years concert, ‘DREAM 08′ is set to be a sell out event.

A collection of New Zealand’s finest Street Dancers will showcase their talent at the Telstra Clear Pacific Arena, Manukau City, November 22nd 2008.

“DREAM 08 SHOWCASE” is a celebration of the skill and achievements of New Zealand street dance crews who have had NATIONAL and INTERNATIONAL SUCCESS.

Featuring 160 dancers will be participating in this DANCE EXTRAVAGANZA with respected crews from 2008 World Champions Auckland SWEET & SOUR , Wellington World Finalists, LEGACY, Rotorua 2007 World Bronze Medalists, FEARLESS, Hamilton 2008 World Bronze Medalists, FDC SUPREMACY and National Junior Champions, DEJAVU.

“The showcase will surely engage and inspire many. The night is a celebration of New Zealand’s finest dancers” says Street Dance New Zealand (SDNZ) Director Ennaolla Paea. “I am particularly looking forward to the, Dream 08 Awards, which will be presented to our most highly commended performers and pioneers of Street Dance in Aotearoa”
